I was skeptical about the vented design at first, but the steam escapes exactly where it should without any splatter mess on my countertop. The tempered glass is surprisingly sturdy and the 12” size fits my cookware perfectly.
The vent hole does exactly what it should — no more steam fogging up the whole kitchen while I simmer soups. It fits my 12-inch pan perfectly and the tempered glass handled a quick temperature drop without any cracking.
The vent hole works perfectly for letting steam escape without splattering sauce everywhere, and the glass is thick enough that I don't worry about it cracking on the counter. Fits my pot snugly, so it’s become my go-to lid for braising.
